Hannan Turk’s big surprise

Young Egyptian actress Hannan Turk, along with her best friend Dr. Nuha Abbas has decided to open a new studio and children’s magazine called “Lu’Lu’a” (Pearl).

Hannan will personally manage the magazine, and will use the studio to produce children’s cartoon films.

The actress revealed that she had intended to take this step awhile back, but it took her some time to overcome her doubts.  Now she is glad that she decided to take the risk.

Hannan’s new film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk), also starring prominent Egyptian actors Yusra and Hisham Salim is a return to the style of old fashioned Egyptian romance films.

Director Ali Idrees stated that he is waiting for the right moment to screen the film to ensure its success.

Ali described the film as “a social drama that reflects the core of Egyptian emotion.”

Hannan refused to give out any details regarding her character in the film, stating that she was very happy to take part in such a great work and to have the opportunity to work with Yusra for a fourth time in her career.

Production was postponed for three years while the actors were preoccupied with other films.
