Young Egyptian actress Hannan Turk was forced to postpone her role in the upcoming film “Muntaha Al Litha” (Extreme Desire), after a pot of boiling water pot spilled on her hands, resulting in second degree burns. Hannan’s husband immediately summoned a doctor to give her first aid, before admitting her into a specialty hospital for burns.

According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, Hannan’s doctor advised her to rest for at least two weeks before returning to work. Hannan apologized to the director of the film for the postponement, as well as the director of her upcoming television drama series “Sarah.”

After careful consideration, Hanan finally agreed to accept the leading role in the new movie “Mathaher Hub,” alongside Fathi Abdul Wahab and Khaled Abu Najja. Hanan will play the role of a critically ill girl who realizes the love her family and friends feel for her, only after discovering the severity of her condition. Throughout the course of the film, Hanan meets several challenges and in the end her character is miraculously cured.

The actress recently completed shooting the final scenes of her upcoming film “Kalam Fil Hub” (Love Talk) alongside prominent Egyptian actress Yusra.
