Hannan Turk's problems

An official source at the Paltros Production company has denied circulating rumors that the screening of the new television drama "Awlad Shawarie" (Street Boys), starring Egyptian actress Hannan Turk, has been postponed.

 

According to the London based Elaph, the source added that the problems that the drama faced have been resolved peacefully, and after the withdrawal of director Omar Zahran due to his preoccupation with another work, an agreement was finalized with director Shireen Adel, who had directed Hannan's previous drama "Sarah". 

 

Despite all of the delay that occurred, filming of the first scenes is scheduled to begin in the upcoming few days. The drama will be aired during the holy month of Ramadan on Dubai's satellite television channel.

 

Recently, the cast of the new film "Ahlam Hakikieh" (Real Dreams) held a celebration after shooting of the first scenes of the film at ‘Al Nahas’ studios.

 

The movie stars young Egyptian actors Hannan, Khaled Saleh, Dalia Al Buhairi and Fathi Abdul Wahab.


The film follows the life a group of young adults with simple dreams of love. The cast stated that the story is a mixture of reality and illusion, and revolves around transforming dreams, good or bad, into real life events.

 

The film, written by Mohammad Diab and directed by Mohammad Juma'a, is produced by Century Films, the same company that produced "The Seventh Sense" last year.

 

Hannan announced that she has decided to increase her own salary, starting with her next role. Hannan used to receive 300 thousand Egyptian pounds for each role, and has decided to up it to 350 thousand, according to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan.
