The famous Egyptian comedian Muhammad Hunaidi announced that he supports the decision of the art association in Egypt to boycott various forms of Algerian art.
Hunaidi said that his new film “Amir Al Bihar” (The Prince of the Sea) has been banned from movie theaters in Algeria. The film opened in theaters across Egypt during the “Eid Al Adha” break.
The banning came in response to the tension between the two nations Egyptian after Algerian fans attacked Egyptian fans following a soccer match in Sudan.
Hunaidi said that he is pleased to have his new film screened in other Arab countries like Syria, Lebanon and Jordan.
