Famous Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmi has dared any Syrian actor to stand in front of an Egyptian actor in any film, according to the Qatari daily Al Raya.
The handsome Egyptian actor’s comments were prompted by recent newspaper reports about how Egyptian drama has lost its edge compared to Syrian drama. Syrian actors are no longer seeking parts in Egyptian dramas in such great numbers as in the past, cited the reports.
The same Syrian actors criticizing Egyptian drama are the same actors who were trying so hard to be part of it, said Hussein.
Hussein still believes that Egyptian actors come at the top of the list and feels that “no Syrian actor can compare.”
