The crew and cast of the new drama series “Haq Mashroo’” (Legitimate Rights) have celebrated the finishing of filming their series. The new series will be aired during Ramadan on a number of satellite channels like: Abu Dhabi, Egyptian, Al Manar and Moroccan Channel.
A new trend has been added to the television drama, and this type of celebration is a first for a television drama series, where in the past it was limited to the finishing of cinema movies. However, the producers of the drama series wanted everyone in the media to know that the series is ready to be televised. There is a great competition in the Ramadan drama series and every series cast are trying their best to finish up filming since Ramadan already started.
The writer of the script Muhammad Diya has added a new experience to the series stars, especially famous Egyptian leading actor Hussein Fahmi. He’ll be playing for the first time in his acting history the role of a ‘Sayedi’ (Egypt’s countryside) man. Fahmi will be co-staring for the first time with Egyptian actress Abla Kamel who was absent from the celebration.
According to the Qatari daily Al Raya, Fahmi states that the role is very strange and new for him, yet it was well written that no actor would overlook acting such a role. He also adds that the Sayedi accent is difficult and he had to seek the assistance of a language specialist to help him master the accent.
The new series will be the 9th project to be done in Al Sa’eed. There is a strong connection between Muhammad Diya the producer and AL Sa’eed since he is from that of Egypt, yet he hopes this project won’t be the last for him.
Fahmi hates being compared to Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman since he also played the role of a Sayedi man last Ramadan. Fahmi says that “he doesn’t go into bets and into fights with anyone, and there is no competition between the two drama series, where each has its unique story line.” He adds that the role interested him and it will be the first for him.
The production company played out the opening and the closing songs for the drama series that was written by poet Sayed Hijab and composed by Amar Al Shiri’i. Egyptian singer Midhat Saleh sang the theme songs. The budget for the new series costs 14 million Egyptian pounds. A number of satellite channels bought rights to air the series such as ‘Orbit’ and ‘MBC’ after Ramadan finishes, where it will be exclusively aired on Abu Dhabi for this Ramadan.
A number of actors will be starring in the new series like Muhammad Wafiq, Samir Sabri, Ahmad Zaher and many more.
