According to the London daily Elaph, Lebanese artist Fares Karam was forced to cancel concert performances in Holland on 17 April because of airport closures due to ash from Iceland’s volcano.
Fares was disappointed that he was unable to perform for his Arab and European fans. Concert organizers sent letters to fans that had already reserved tickets telling them that the concert has been postponed.
