Egyptian actor Izzat Aleily is enraged at the Egypt 1 Television channel for airing his Ramadan series Hassan AL Baseery after 3 in the morning, reported Al Akhbar newspaper.
According to the Egyptian publication, Aleily is demanding that his series be placed in a prime time slot so that it gets it’s maximum potential of viewers.
“The series addresses very important Islamic issues,” said Aleily adding that such issues are what make it important for his work to be seen by as many people as possible.
Meanwhile, the actor is set to start filming a new series entitled Khars Silah (Silence of Arms), following the first Ramadan celebrations.
This project was written by Majed Saber and will be directed by Rabab Hassan.
This time around, Aleily plays the role of an Egyptian borders Lieutenant who is transferred to the reserves and finds it very difficult to adapt from a soldiers life to that of a civilian. – Albawaba.com.
