JADA PINKETT SMITH has collected an impressive list of motion picture credits over the past three years, including the blockbusters Scream2, The Nutty Professor with Eddie Murphy; and the popular urban-action drama Set It Off.  

After making her film debut in 1993 in the critically acclaimed Menace II Society, directed by Allen and Albert Hughes, she went on to star in The Inkwell, opposite Larenz Tate, and Jason's Lyric, with Allen Payne. Pinkett Smith drew widespread praise for her first comedic performance in Keenen Ivory Wayans' A Low Down Dirty Shame. In addition, she starred in Demon Night, director Ernest Dickerson's big-screen adaptation of the popular HBO series, Tales From The Crypt.  

Jada studied dance and acting at the Baltimore School of Arts and the North Carolina School of Arts. Her big break came when she landed a role on the long-running series A Different World. Other television credits include guest appearances on The Trials of Rosie O'Neill, True Colors, and Doogie Howser, MD 

Off-screen, she is busy with her production company, 100% WOMON. Recently, she and her husband, actor Will Smith, sold a pitch to Ron Howard and Brian Grazer's company, Imagine Entertainment.
