Jamal Suleiman prefers “Thakirat Jasad” over “Lailat Dam”

The famous Syrian actor Jamal Suleiman is getting ready to start filming his scenes for the new television drama series “Thakirat Jasad” (Body Memories), written by the Algerian novelist Ahlam Mistghanmi. The scenario was written by the Syrian writer Reem Hana and the new series will be directed by the famous Syrian director Najdat Ansour.


 According to the London daily Elaph, Suleiman plays the role of an artist, Khaled Bin Tobal that lost his arm during a war. He falls in love with the daughter of an Algerian fighter, who was his friend his during the Algerian revolution against the French occupation. The series is scheduled to be exclusively aired on Abu Dhabi’s satellite channel during the upcoming Ramadan season.


 On other grounds, Suleiman denied reports that he agreed to star in a new film called “Lailat Al Dam” (The Bloody Night). He said that he is very upset with people spreading false news about him.


Suleiman said that he is busy filming a few drama projects between Egypt and Syria. 


 Suleiman recently returned to Cairo after a short visit to Syria where he appeared as a guest on the Syrian drama series “Ma Malakat Aymanakom” (What is rightfully yours). Suleiman played himself, along with a number of other famous Syrian actors.
