Jamal Suliman on Syria’s ‘Most Wanted’ list
Sources from inside the country have revealed that Syrian actor Jamal Suliman’s name is one of those on the most wanted list and security officials have now issued an order for his arrest. The actor was placed on the list based on allegations that he has been meeting with opposition leaders.
According to security sources Jamal has been openly criticizing the Syrian government in his private gatherings and accuses Assad's forces of attacking citizens with impunity.
Jamal is part of the Al Alawites religious group, the same one Syrian President Bashar Al Assad belongs to. The actor is also the son in law of the former Minister of Information Mohammad Salman. Both facts have outraged government officials who assumed that Jamal would be an Assad supporter.
The actor recently completed filming most of the scenes for his upcoming Egyptian drama “Seedna Al Sayed”, scheduled to be aired during the coming Ramadan season.
