The new and rising Moroccan singer Janat started getting very positive feedback from her recent summer performances. The summer before last she was introduced to the audience, and even though it’s been over a year since the release of her first album, her songs are constantly being played and used as a cell phone rings.

According to the London daily Elaph, Janat was able through her successful performances and her fast beat romantic singing to be considered the best rising singer out of singers from her generation, making her live concert tickets sell at large numbers. The Economic and Political Science department at the Cairo University has awarded her for being the best “Rising Singer”.

Janat kept singing classical and old style of Arabic singing for her fans in Morocco and Egypt ever since she started her career. She is very pleased to be awarded in Egypt and is able to reach many of the younger listeners to listen to her songs.

On the other hand, Janat is having meetings with a number of poets and composers to prepare for her next album, which will be released by next summer season. Janat’s second album will be produced by “Goodnews” Production Company, which also produced her first album. Janat’s new album will hold a romantic and cultural style that discusses social issues faced in the Arab world.
