Hollywood actor, comedian and current Grinch Jim Carrey, who plays the green grump in the current No. 1 hit in the box office, Dr. Suess' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, has split up with Nurse Betty actress Renee Zellweger, their publicists confirmed Tuesday.
According to AFP, Carrey’s publicist Marleah Leslie said "I just want to say that it is true and that it's a private matter between the two of them."
Gossipy TV program Access Hollywood quoted Zellweger's publicist as saying, "As of a few weeks ago, Jim and Renee are no longer in a relationship."
Carrey, 38, and second wife Lauren Holly divorced in 1997, and the wacky Canadian actor hooked up with Zellweger after the two worked together on the comedy, Me, Myself and Irene.
Carrey has some consolation: His latest film has been dominating the Christmas season box office receipts, taking in $195.5 million dollars so far in its four weeks of release, in the United States and Canada alone. – AFP.
