The renowned Kuwaiti actor Mohammed al Mansour revealed that he would participate in the Arabic series Emru al Qais which he described as belonging to the huge historical genre such as the series Thee Qar.
“This artwork is a joint Arab production with Kuwaiti participation. Shooting of the series will begin by the end of this month,” Mansour told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).
“I will perform a role in another Arabic series entitled ‘Karima’ under the direction of the renowned Syrian director Najdat Anzur. The series is based on a novel by the UAE writer and intellectual Mane’ Said al Otaiba,” added Mansour.
“The new series belongs to the social, romantic, humanitarian and political genre and is a daring series,” said Mansour adding that the episodes would be shot in Morocco next July.
Mansour said he would offer along with his brother artists from Mansour family a series, which will be aired during the forthcoming month of Ramadan. He added that artists from the UAE and Bahrain would participate in the series written by Bashir al Rashidi, directed by Abdel Aziz al Mansour and scripted by Nader Khalifa.
He also indicated that he and his brothers have agreed with the Minister of Information, Sheikh Ahmed al Fahed on the production of a nomadic Kuwaiti series, which would be wrapped up by the end of this year -- Albawaba.com
