According to the London daily Elaph, Syrian actor Jomana Murad started filming her new movie “Cabaret,” directed by Samih Abed Al Aziz and produced by Ahmad Al Sabki.
The film also stars Egyptian actors Hala Fakher, Ahmad Bdair, Salah Abdullah, Fathi Abed Al Wahab, Khalid Al Sawi, Edward, Majid Al Kidwani, Ala Mursi, Muhammad Lutfi and Dina Samir Ghanem.
The film is unusual since there are only 15 scenes that take place during just one night in the ‘Cabaret.’
Jomana said, “The film is a new experience for me.”
She plays the role of a young lady who lives with her mother in a poor neighborhood. Her tough life leads her to work as waitress in a cabaret “nightclub.”
Jomana’s character has two different personalities, one inside the cabaret and another at home in her neighborhood.
