Lebanese singer Juana Malah told her fans in the Gaza Strip that she will make a strong comeback with her new album “Sineen” (Years).
Juana recently appeared live as a guest live on Palestine television and on Gaza FM radio station. The singer stated that she loves her singing career and it has been her number one passion for as long as she can remember.
The singer’s career was launched from ‘Studio Al Phan’ ten years ago, after her successful participation in a number of singing contests.
During Juana’s radio interview she revealed that the first song she ever sang was “Wallah Ya Boyah Mukhabar Shi” (I Swear I am not hiding anything). All of the songs she sang throughout her career are dear to her and hold a special place in her heart, but her favorite work is her latest album “Sineen,” explained Juana.
The new work features seven songs and has already been distributed in Lebanon and Egypt. The album, produced by ‘Free Melody Production,’ is the singer’s first release in almost three years.
Juana’s role models in the music world are Lebanese diva Sabah, Algerian singer Warda, and Egyptian singers Abdul Halim Hafez, Shadia and Umm Kalthoum. She stated that she learned a lot from these great singers, such as their way of performing and their use of emotion in their songs.
During the interview Juana sang a special song to Palestine and thanked the station for having her as their guest, expressing her gratitude for being able to connect with her fans in Gaza. The singer also gave her condolences to all the families of martyrs who died in the Jordan bombing.
