Jumana Murad denies rumors of a divorce from Najdat Anzour

Syrian actress Jumana Murad denied circulating rumors about a divorce from her husband prominent Syrian director Najdat Anzour. Rumors had it that the couple was experiencing recurrent disputes that led to an end to their marriage. 

According to the London based Elaph, Jumana said that she lives in perfect harmony with her husband and the reason behind the rumors is the fact that she has accepted a role in a new TV drama "Al Huroub Ela Al Qima" (Escape to the Top) which is directed by Fadel Al Tasi and not her husband. This drama will be the first time Jumana takes on a work that is not directed by her husband in turn prompting people to assume a breakup between them. The actress added that her husband holds high respect for Al Tasi as a director who has accomplished great success. 

An avant-garde director, Anzour, launched a new era in Arabic TV drama with his visionary and pioneering techniques. Inspired by his style, many young directors started to look for new settings away from closed studios and limited boundaries. -Albawaba.com
