Syrian actress Jumana Murad has joined the crew of the new Egyptian film “Kabarayh” (Nightclub), which director Samih Abd Al Aziz has already begun filming the scenes for.
Jumana plays the role of a poor Egyptian girl who works as a waitress at a nightclub, despite the strong opposition by people from her neighborhood over such a profession. The film will include over 15 main actors like Ahmad Budayr, Dina Sameer Ghanem, Khaled Al Sawi and Majed Al Kidwani.
On a similar note, Jumana is also in the process of filming a new Syrian drama titled “Haik Itjawazna” (This is how we got married), which is produced by her own private production company. The drama is written by Mazin Taha and directed by Ammar Radwan.
‘Haik Itjawazna’ is a social drama that features several comical scenes. It is composed of thirty episodes and each tells a different story with different actors than the other episodes.
