According to the Jordanian daily Al Rai, the famous Jordanian artist Diana Karazon married Egyptian artist Mustafa Qamar in the desert near the October 6th area of Cairo in their new television drama series “Muntaha Al Ishiq” (Extreme passion). The scene took five days to film.
Diana said that her new role in her first Egyptian drama series will greatly affect her career.
“Being successful in the Egyptian drama is my ticket to the hearts of millions in the Arab world,” said Diana, adding that she hopes it will lead to opportunities for her in the movie industry.
She put great effort into speaking the Egyptian dialect well in her role as a young Bedouin woman that runs from her family, because they are trying to force her to marry her cousin, said Diana. The Bedouin woman starts working in a tourist village, where she meets an Egyptian man and falls in love.
“Muntaha Al Ishiq” is directed by Muhammad AL Najar and written by Muhammad Al Ghithi. The series also stars Egyptian actress Rania Farid Shawqi, Rania Mahmoud Yasin, Enas Al Najar, Rihab Al Jamal, Saeed Sadiq and Mustafa Fathi.
Diana recently launched her music album “Diana 2010,” featuring twelve songs in five Arab dialects. Diana sang in the Jordanian, Egyptian, Lebanese, Khaleeji, and for the first time in the Iraqi dialect.
Diana has already filmed three music video clips for songs from the new album.
