Egyptian singer Khaled Saleem has broken off his engagement to a young woman outside the entertainment world.
Khaled said that he broke the news to his ex-fiancé privately and quietly with the utmost respect, during a televised interview on Nile Live satellite television channel.
The singer said that he and his ex-fiancé could not overcome their differences.
Three months ago Khaled announced his engagement publicly on a radio station. During the interview a young woman called the station and said that she was a big fan of Khaled’s. Then Khaled shocked the audience by revealing she was his new fiancé.
