The fifth theatrical festival honored on Saturday a number of Kuwaiti and Arab artists for their role in the theatrical movement in Kuwait and the Arab world, according to Kuwait’s Official News Agency (KUNA).
The festival, which is being held on the sideline of Kuwait’s celebrations marking the fact that it is the cultural capital of the Arab world for the year 2001, honored Salem al-Faqaan, Khadhem al-Qalaf and Adnan Ahmad from Kuwait and Mohammed Tawfeeq and Sameeha Ayoub as representative of the Arab theatrical movement.
