Latifa’s latest clip

The famous Tunisian artist Latifa filmed a new video clip for the song “Sibni Shwayah” (Leave Me For A While).  Filming took place in Dubai under the Emirati director Nahlah Al Fahed.

According to the London daily Elaph, the new clip is the third clip from Latifa’s last album “Fe Al Kam Youm Eli Fato” (In the Past Few Days), and will be aired on ‘Rotana’ music channels this week. The lyrics for the song “Sibni Shwayah” are written by Nader Abdullah, composed by Walid Saed and distributed by Tamim.

 On other grounds, Latifa recently appeared as a guest on a Palestinian channel for the first time through satellite connection. She was interviewed live by the Palestinian broadcaster Shireen Al Khalidi. The main topic of the interview was a about Jerusalem and how it was named the Arab Cultural capital for 2009. Latifa also talked about the special connection between her and the Palestinian people.

The Palestinian channel also aired for the first time the clip for the song “Ya Adowi” (Oh My Enemy), directed by Palestinian director Ibrahim Qlaibo. The song was made to support the people in Gaza and their crisis. The song was written by the Palestinian poet Rami Al Yousif and composed by the Iraqi musician Nasir Shama.
