Young Lebanese singer Maya Nasri headed recently to Cairo to geer for the recording of her upcoming album “Ahibak” (I Love You), according to the daily Nahar newspaper.
Nasri, who has moved fast in the world of singing after many theatrical performances, said that she is making her dream come true with this upcoming album. “In reality few are those who can achieve their dreams, but if we stop dreaming, there will no meaning for life. I was dreaming of acting and I did it; I dreamt of singing and I’m making a huge success in it these days,” Maya said.
Talking about her experience in both arts. Maya said that “singing is more inclusive than acting, it combines between the performance of the actress and sound of the singer. I did not quit acting as I still study at the university.” Adding that acting has helped her in all her music videos.
Talented Maya promised her fans that the eight-song album would hold new and different styles of music and songs. She would be singing in different dialects, cooperating with renowned composers and poets from all over the Arab World. – Albawaba.com
