Egyptian singer Mohammad Foad has begun a very strict diet for his role in the upcoming film “Ghawi Hub”, which includes action scenes that he must be fit to perform. Foad stressed that if he wants to be able to move freely he must take off some of his weight before shooting of the scenes begins.
The film is written by Ahmad Al Beih and is directed by Mohammad Al Shinawi, son of prominent actor Kamal Al Shinawi. Young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha and Ramiz Jalal will costar alongside Foad. The movie is to be filmed in Cairo, Sharm El Sheikh and a European country, and revolves around a young man who falls into numerous relationships, leading his brother, who is a cop, to seek his help in catching a drug smuggler.
The cop suggests that his brother make the daughter of the smuggler have a relationship with her in order to catch her father, but fate makes him actually fall in love with her and a dilemma begins of what he must do.
Mohammad has announced that he will produce the film himself due to the fact that several other film projects he was working on kept on being postponed. The film revolves mainly around Hala and Mohammad who fall in love but encounter several obstacles in their way. Mohammad is supposed to sing three different songs for Hala in the film. Next July has been set as the release date for the film.
