Egyptian belly dancer/singer Lucy has just released her latest music video for the song “Ya Imghairli Hali” (You Have Changed Me), which is her second music video ever and is part of her upcoming album. The theme in the video revolves around a young lady, who works in a nightclub and has her eyes on the owner of the club.
It is apparent by the manner of Lucy in the music video that she will be attacked with much criticism from the media and even the Egyptian Censorship Committee. The dancer over does it in her attire and movements in the clip, and the overall impression is that it is not appropriate for home viewers. Lucy felt it necessary she wears revealing outfits and dance seductively in order to be able to compete with other singers who use the same methods to gain popularity.
In the video, Lucy tries to seduce the owner by singing and dancing. Lucy stressed that she does not fear failure because she always seeks to try new things. She added that she has completed the recording of most of the songs from her first album.
Lucy has recently finished shooting the final scenes for the TV drama “Kanaria Wa Shourakah” (Kanaria and Co.), alongside Egyptian actors Farouq Al Fishawi and Summaya Al Ufi. Lucy asserted that her role in the drama is something completely different from what has done before. Adding that she agreed to accept the role immediately and in the first minute she was offered it.
Lucy had just completed recording the songs of her upcoming music album, and begun filming the scenes for her new television drama series "Mala'eeb Shiha" alongside Egyptian actor Abraham Al Shuwadi. In the new series, Lucy plays the role of a beauty expert who specializes physiology, skincare and more.
Lucy is also in the process of preparing for a new film "Ah Ya Ain Ya Zaman", which she plans to make her return to the big screen with. The new film will be a musical and Lucy is to play the leading role in. –Albawaba.com
