Lebanese singer Madline Mater is meeting up with a number of different Egyptian poets, composers and distributors during her trip to Cairo. This time Madeline’s stay in Cairo might be a long one, in order to choose some songs that are different in their ideas and meanings for her new album. Madeline’s new album will be different than her previous ones, because it will hold a mixed cocktail between Lebanese, Egyptian and Khaliji (Gulf) songs.

According to the London daily Elaph, Madeline just finished recording three songs so far for the new album. One of the songs that she just chose to include in her album is “Nadara” (Eye Glasses). The new song is written by Ahmad Shata and composed by Khaled Junaidi. This is considered to be the second time that Madeline works with Shata. She previously worked with him on her song “Bahibak Widari” (I Love You And Put Up With It) that made a great success.

It is needless to say that Madeline’s new album will hold some of the late composer Riyad Al Hamshri’s work “Law Dah Yerayahak” (If This Pleases You). The song is written by Hani Abed Al Karim and distributed by Muhammad Mustafa.

Madeline is very pleased to be staying in Cairo during these days especially during the holy month of Ramadan to witness the spiritual feelings that the old city of Cairo holds every year. She makes sure that everyday after she finishes her work to spend time at Cairo’s old and local places that combines the past and present at the same time. She loves going to ‘Al Hussein’ neighborhood, because it has special restaurants and cafes that are favored by many people.
