Madonna brings 'Ray of Light' to impoverished Karachi school, donates serious cash

Madonna has declared that she has pledged funds for the expansion of a school in an impoverished region on the outskirts of Karachi.
On the very same day, the pop star went on stage at a live concert in London and revealed that she is supporting education for girls in Pakistan through her 'Ray of Light' foundation.
She also urged people to support the cause, the Express Tribune reported.
The concert was organised by a charity organisation called 'Chime For Change,' which roots for education for women and girls.
Dream Foundation Trust (DFT) - a Pakistani NGO - has founded The Dream Model Street School located in Mawach Goth.
A web page was simultaneously launched on a crowd-funding platform, 'Catapult,' to raise money for the addition of another floor in a school located in Mawach Goth, Karachi.
The campaign is expected to raise nearly 58,000 dollars.
