Egyptian actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz has begun shooting his new film Al Atefi (The Emotional) along with the same team as his recently shot work Al Saher (The Magician) directed by Radwan Al Kashef and written by Sami Al Siwi, according to the daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
Abdel Aziz’ films have recently had some distinctive features. He recently worked on Souk Al Muta’a (Market of Pleasure) along with Elham Shahin, which achieved great success, as did The Gentile.
The actor said he had felt optimistic since he performed in the film The Gentile because of its warm reception.
The titles of the latest films illustrate the size of the roles played by Abdel Aziz, whose domination of the screen was absolute, leaving other actors in bare complementary roles.
In Al Saher (Magician), Abdel Aziz plays alongside Salwa Khattab as a man who tries to bring pleasure to a certain class within Egyptian society that suffers from neglect and deprivation - Albawaba.com
