Young Egyptian actor Mai Izz El Din vowed to never work with the same production company after she was shocked by the alterations that were made to her most recent film "Khyana Mashroo'a" (Justified Betrayal).
The film is currently being screened in cinema houses around Egypt. Actors Hani Salameh, Summaya Al Khashab and Hisham Salim costar alongside Mai in the film directed by Khaled Yousef.
Mai is disappointed with the company, claiming it broke their agreement by placing Summaya's name before hers in the credits.
The director asserted that he had nothing to do with the alterations, stating that the producer made the changes for unknown reasons.
Mai decided that she will not participate in any evens related to the film, if the production company does not make the necessary corrections.
On a different note, Mai was recently considering wearing a Hijab, an Islamic headdress, but said that she must first build up the courage, since such a decision will completely change her life.
A recent rumor claimed that Mai intends to wear a Hijab and quit her acting career. She denied the rumor, stressing that if she does decide to wear a Hijab she will continue to act.
It has become a trend that female stars who decide to wear a Hijab often face predictions they will forgo their successful careers.
