Late Egyptian actor Mamdouh Wafi, who passed away early this week at the age of 53, has been buried at Egyptian prominent actor Ahmad Zaki’s cemetery, which was a request he had stated in his will. The late actor wanted to be buried in Ahmad’s grave yard due to the fact that he considered Ahmad to be one of his closest friends.
According to the London based Elaph, upon hearing the news of his best friend, Ahmad’s blood pressure became very high and he was immediately taken to hospital. Doctors underwent several tests on Ahmad and kept him under strict supervision until his condition returns to normal.
Mamdouh has been suffering from cancer for the past few months, discovering that he was sick with the illness cancer at the same time he was accompanying his lifelong friend prominent actor Ahmad Zaki in Paris, where the latter was being treated for lung cancer.
While Mamdouh was in Paris he had suffered from severe abdominal pain and after being examined by doctors he was diagnosed with the deadly disease. Wafi’s journey in the acting world includes many different movies and plays alongside some of the most prominent actors and actresses.
The late actor also took part in different television dramas and even became a television announcer for some of the programs aired on different Arab satellite television channels. Doctors supervising the health condition of Ahmad Zaki expect him to collapse once he hears the news of his best friend’s death. The ICU room at the hospital Zaki is at is already prepared for the actor.
