It is time to introduce acid jazz in its best oriental form to the Middle East with Mardo El Noor’s new release “Arabian Days & Nights.”
Acid jazz, known as club jazz, is a musical genre that combines elements of soul, funk, and disco. Repetitive beats and modal harmony are common, and in actuality it only slightly resembles traditional jazz music.
Mardo (Murad Wajdi) El Noor is well known for his outstanding crossover compositions. This is his third album and perhaps his best.
The album showcases the beauty of classical Arabic music in harmony with the soothing sounds of Jazz and modern beats that makes the entire album a fantastic experience.
