Lebanese singer Mariam Fares has agreed to star in the new Egyptian film “Al Harb Al Alamieh Al Thalitha” (World War Three), written by Sabri Al Huwari.
Young Egyptian actor Ahmad Izz and Tunisian actress Hind Sabri will co-star alongside her.
According to the UAE based daily, Al Bayan, the film is a real-life drama about the possibility of a third World War erupting in the Arab world.
Mariam plays the role of an Arab woman who befriends foreign soldiers, marking her debut in the acting world.
Mariam has released a new music video for her single “Nadini” (Call Me), from her upcoming album “Nadini Mariam” (Call me Mariam), under the production of ‘Music Master.’ The album will be released at the end of the month.
The video was shot in five rooms of a dormitory style building and in each room Mariam plays a different character. Each of her different looks presented throughout the clip matches the décor of the respective room.
Mariam filmed the successful new clip under the direction of young Lebanese director Ameer Kiradieh.
