Lebanese singer Marwa will appear in the new play “Love You Yes, Marry You No,” written and produced by Faisal Nida and directed by Husam Al Deen Salah.
The play also stars Ahmad Budair, Ahmad Maki, Issam Karika and Wahbeh Al Sisi.
“This is a great chance to act in front of the audience, rather than behind a camera,” said Marwa, although she admitted she is still experiencing stage fright.
The comedic play centers around an actor engaged to a politician’s daughter. She uses her father’s power to spy on her fiancé, and discovers that he is involved with another woman, played by Marwa.
