Marwa takes advantage of harassment case

For the past two weeks the storm of who harassed who had calmed down between Lebanese singer Marwa and her Egyptian fans. Accusations from both ends have been going on with each blaming the other side for the harassment.
 The media is divided in two where one blames Marwa for the harassment and the other side blaming the Egyptian fans. The Egyptian music union leader made clear that there is no valid decision to ban Marwa from singing in Egypt. He has no clear view of the harassment case and he won’t take such a decision of banning a singer from hearing rumors in the newspapers. He also adds that he needs proof and documents should be turned in, in order to make a case.

 According to the London daily Elaph, on the other hand Marwa has taken an advantage of the case in order to be in spotlight in the media and on magazine covers. She is trying to put the case of her harassment in use to advertise for her new album. Marwa is placing the last touch on her new album so it can be released this Eid El Fiter.

She is taking a big chance launching it now since she’ll be standing against famous singers like Khaled Salim, Muhammad Fouad and Samira Sa’ed who are also launching their albums this Eid.
