Lebanese singer Maya Nasri has placed the final touches on her first album produced by Rotana, after breaking her contract with Alam El Phan Production Company.

The album, which is scheduled for release in the very near future, will feature eight songs that vary in style and dialect. Maya has been commuting between Lebanon and Egypt to select the songs for the album.

A number of prominent composers from both countries contributed to the musical score. Some of the names Maya worked with were Marwan Khoury, Hisham Polis, Mohammad Rifae’ and more.

According to the London based Elaph, Maya’s managing office has revealed that in the upcoming few days a press conference will be held to officially announce the joining of the singer to Rotana.

She stated that she hopes Rotana will help boost her career, and that her new contract provides her security and protects her rights as a singer.

In the meantime, Maya plans on filming the music video for her song “Haba Haba” (Bit by Bit), from her latest album, upon Rotana’s request, sources claim.

Maya entered the entertainment world as a fashion model and beauty queen, which led to her successful acting and singing career.
