Lebanese singer Maya Nasri has recently joined the Music Production Company Rotana and is now one of the company’s list of prominent singers. The singer has already begun preparations for her first album to be produced by Rotana.
According to the Qatar based daily, Al Raya, Maya has expressed her joy at joining the company stressing that she is very hopeful that this step will mark a turning point in her career. The singer added that her new contract will protect her rights as a singer and gives her the feeling of security.
On a different note, the singer has signed a one year contract, subject for extension, with an international hair product company to become their Ambassador and represent their products. Maya has already filmed a new commercial for the company in <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />Europe under the supervision of a professional staff for a period of two days.
Maya’s last contribution to the music world was her hit single “Bashta’lak Awi” (I Miss You A lot), which was released on its own. The singer had filmed a music video for the song under the direction of Mirna Al Khayat.
