Lebanese singer Maya Nasri has revealed that she since the launch of her singing career she has been very careful in choosing songs that are romantic and slow. Maya stressed that people are always seeking to find songs that relax them, which is why she takes her time in finding good songs with meaningful words and soothing compositions.

According to the London based daily, Dar Al Hayat, Maya revealed that she had always looked up to Lebanese singer Nawal Al Zoughbi, admired her achievements, and dreamt of becoming like her. The singer added that she respects Syrian singer Asalah Nasri’s character and honesty.

Maya noted that she envies Asalah for her boldness and her ability to face anything that comes her way. Maya stressed that she is not as bold as Asalah, but rather she is more of a serene person and that shows in most of her music videos.

Maya has always made it a point to include some form of a love relationship in her music videos and considers love to be the biggest victory of all. The singer’s life in reality is reflected in her songs and she revealed that she is currently living a love affair with the man of her dreams.

Maya has recently joined the Music Production Company Rotana and is now one of the company’s list of prominent singers. The singer has already begun preparations for her first album to be produced by Rotana. Maya has expressed her joy at joining the company stressing that she is very hopeful that this step will mark a turning point in her career. The singer added that her new contract will protect her rights as a singer and gives her the feeling of security.
