Lebanese artist Maya Thyab will travel to Cairo to participate in a new Egyptian television drama series that will be aired during the upcoming month of Ramadan.
The series will also star the Lebanese actress Nadine Al Rasi and the Egyptian artist Lucy.
According to the London daily Elaph, the series is written by Azah Shalabi and directed by Omar Abed Al Aziz.
Maya said that she is afraid to take her daughter, Kai, with her to Cairo, fearing that she may be affected by the weather change. Maya decided to leave her daughter with her mother in Lebanon and will return to Lebanon twice a week to see her daughter.
On other grounds, Maya denied a recent media report that the Lebanese music group, “The Four Cats,” have separated. She said that the group is getting ready to film a new video clip for the song “Rakiz Ya Salim” (Salim Focus).
Dalida Shama’y, the wife of the prominent composer Ghasan Al Rahbani, will participate in filming the new clip. Dalida have birth to a set of twins more than two years ago and is pregnant with her third child.
