Mayes Hamdan instead of Noor

The director Hani Ismail nominated the Jordanian actress Mayes Hamadan to star in his new television drama series “Habibi Al Lathi Lam Ahiboh” (My Love the One I Did Not Love). Mayes nomination comes after the Lebanese actress Noor turned down the same role because of her recent pregnancy.

The new television drama series stars Ayman Zidan, Wahbeh Majdi and Zalah Abdullah. The drama series is written by Muhammad Safa and directed by Hani Ismail. The series is a joint production between “City of Media Production” and the company “Rowana.”

The new series is about a businessman that falls in love with his secretary, but he finds it is hard to continue the relationship.

According to the London daily Elaph, Mayes last television role was in the second part of the television drama series “Al Masrawyeh.” Mayes was nominated instead of the Egyptian actress Ghada Adel, but she did not receive positive reviews.
