According to the London daily Elaph, the Jordanian artist Mayes Hamdan announced that she will not host any live concerts. Mayes said that she only has a few songs that belong to her and they are not enough for her to perform at a concert. She does not want to perform songs by other artists.
There are negotiations underway between her and the production company ‘Rotana’ to produce her own album in the near future.
Mayes also revealed that she did not find a suitable role in the Egyptian cinema, because most of the roles that were offered to her are romantic and she considers herself more of a comedy actor.
Mayes also presents the entertainment show “Layali Al Somer” on Abu Dhabi channel based in the UAE.
