Singers Medhat Saleh and Anoshka have inked an agreement with director Musa’d Foudah to costar in the new comedy series “Mawe’d Ma’a Al Shuhrah,” (Appointment With Fame), according to Akhbar Al Nujum magazine.
Costarring in the series, which will start filming next month, are Sharif Munir, Assayyed Radi, Abdel Mine’m Madbouli and Ezzat Abu Awf.
The script for the series, which bills itself as a musical comedy, was written by Hisham Al Sawwaf.
The series explores the lives of four young men who come from Alexandria seeking fame and fortune.
A media mogul meets the young men and helps them turn their dreams into a reality, but through a scheme that involves their being framed for murder. The young men become famous - but in the newspaper police blotter - Albawaba.com
