One of the few Hollywood couples still together, Melanie Griffith and Antonio Banderas, are among the small number of stars confirmed to appear at this year's May 9-20 Cannes Film Festival.

Griffith is to receive a trophy at a May 19 dinner during which her 1988 flick "Working Girl" will be shown, organizers of the festival said Thursday.

But while Banderas will be by her side, his presence isn't simply that of faithful hubby; the Spanish hunk actor is filming "Femme Fatale" at locations in Paris and Cannes -- including some paparazzi footage to be taken during the festival itself.

"Femme Fatale", a story about an ex-con woman trying to shake off her past, is being directed by Brian de Palma of "Mission: Impossible" and "Blow Out" fame -- AFP
