After months of negotiations between the Lebanese artist Wael Kfoury and the music production company ‘Melody,’ the company has withdrawn their offer.
The contract was supposed to be singed in December last year, but Wael kept postponing, according to ‘Melody.’
Sources claim the Wael’s conditions were too much for ‘Melody’ to accept.
According to the London daily Elaph, Wael began negotiating with Melody after conflicts erupted between him and his previous production company ‘Rotana.’
President of ‘Rotana,’ Salim Al Hindi said the dispute between Wael and the company was over the ‘Music Award’ that went to Egyptian superstar Amr Diab.
Al Hindi said that the company has decided to forgo the Music Awards because they did not want to loose anymore of their artists.
Wael may try to rejoin ‘Rotana.’
The famous Lebanese artist Asi Hilani recently joined ‘Rotana,’ after leaving “Melody.’
