Midhat Saleh apologizes for his past
Egyptian singer/actor Midhat Saleh has announced that he decided not present any project for television, the cinema or on stage alongside a dancer. He stressed that he has finally seen the light and become closer to God. Midhat has apologized to his fans for past works and denied that his upcoming religious album is a way of showing support to the Islamists that may come into power in Egypt.
According to the internet website MBC.net, Midhat said that he regrets past projects alongside dancers and vowed never to repeat such works. The singer stated that he had asked God for forgiveness for all his past sins and strongly feels that God has answered his prayers and showed him the light.
Midhat has said that his wife is a gift from God and he is very grateful to her for guiding him to always do right and has created an atmosphere for him that is peaceful and serene and made him forget all past failed experiences with women.
On a different note, Midhat has completed recording the songs for his upcoming album “Yadayed wa Yadaina” (Your hands and ours) and it is scheduled for release in stores during the beginning of the New Year.
