Midhat Saleh 'sells songs'
After his unexpected wedding to actress Shireen Saif al Naser, Egyptian singer Medhat Saleh is now gearing up to start shooting his new TV series “Bayaa al Mawaweel” (Song’s Vendor), according to al Akhbar newspaper.
The series, written by Basyouni Othman and directed by Mohammed Abdul Nabi, depicts the story about the theft of a newborn baby from a hospital. The baby is one of twins born to a poor family and taken to be sold to another rich family that lost its baby at birth.
“Bayaa al Mawaweel” also stars Hasan Husni, Waheed Said, Basama and many others.
After rumors about returning to his former wife, the Egyptian singer has blasted a big surprise last July by his marriage to actress Shireen Saif al Naser. The wedding, held in a famous hotel in Cairo, took place in complete secrecy, as the party was limited to the couple’s family and relatives.
This marriage, marking the fifth for Saleh and the second for Saif al Naser, was considered a surprise as both has never met in any work. – Albawaba.com
