Egyptian singer Midhat Saleh has announced that he has tied the knot to Amani Nasri, sister of prominent Syrian singer Asalah Nasri. Amani was previously married to musician Mohammad Dia’ El Din.
The marriage finally occurred after going through numerous obstacles. Midhat stated that he is the happiest man alive and is madly in love with Amani, and added that this is the first time in his life that he feels such strong emotions.
Midhat had named his new recording studio “Aman” after his new wife Amani.
Sources revealed that Asalah and her husband, director Tareq Al Arian, were in strong opposition towards the marriage. Midhat stated that he could not understand what the reasons behind the strong refusal were but is now hoping the two will come to terms with the new situation.
