Mina Fadli calls off engagement

The young Egyptian actress Mina Fadli confirmed that she is no longer engaged. Mina was engaged to music distributer Adel Haqi for the past year before deciding to call it quits.

Mina refused to talk about the reason behind her sudden decision, merely stating, “This is our faith.” Mina made clear that she is still good friends with Adel Haqi and respects him.

Circulating rumors claim the reason behind her cancelling the engagement was that Mina’s mother did not approve of the marriage.

Other rumors claim that Adel Haqi wanted Mina to quit show business after they married and to devote all of her time to her home and family, but Mina refused.
