The young Egyptian actress Mina Shalaby denied reports that she will star in a new television drama series called “Wa Darat Al Ayam” (As the Days Turn), also starring Egyptian actress Faten Hamamah and Omar Al Sharif.
According to the London daily Elaph, Shalaby confessed that if she was offered a part in a television drama series with Faten Hamamah she would agree without hesitation.
“Every actor wishes to work with Faten Hamamah,” said Shalaby.
Shalaby is now filming her scenes for the new movie “Noor Aini” (The Light of my Eyes) with the Egyptian superstar Tamer Hosny. Egyptian actress May Iz Al Deen turned down Shalaby’s part, because she is busy working on her new television drama series “Qadyet Safyeh” (Safyeh’s Case).
