Sources have verified that Egyptian singer Angham has gotten a divorce from her husband music distributor Fahed. Close friends of Angham revealed that the divorce occurred as a result of endless problems between the couple that have been going on for months and caused the relationship to reach a deadend.
Some media sources have stated that one of the main reasons behind the breakup is the existence of a love affair between Fahed and young Egyptian actress Mirna Al Muhandis.
The singer made no comment regarding the news of her divorce which only implies that she may have actually gotten the divorce.
Since the couple first got married two years ago, rumors began surfacing that she and her husband are facing marital problems. It was added that due the problems the two cut their honeymoon short and returned to Egypt.
The couple at the time claimed that they only planned on a two week honeymoon, due to the fact that both have overwhelming work obligations. Angham had to begin choosing the songs for her album, and Fahed was overloaded with songs to compose for different singers.
Angham has one son with Fahed and already has a son from a previous marriage.
On a different note, Angham may release a new album featuring songs only in the Gulf dialect, after receiving several requests from her Gulf fans.
Angham had been residing in Beirut to pave the way for her return to the scenes. The singer is taking part in a number of entertainment activities in Lebanon in order to ensure that her comeback is a strong one.
Angham had been caring for her baby "Abdul Rahman" with his father, and marked the end of her maternity leave with a new music video for the song "Bahib Nafsi" (I Love Myself) in Beirut with director Hadi Al Bajouri. The singer chose to stay away from the spotlight during her pregnancy.
