Young Egyptian actress Mirna Al Muhandis, who has suffering and pain since her childhood, has tried so hard to give all she can for her audience and not allow her illness to overcome her. She has subdued to doctors orders of being transferred abroad to undergo surgery in her colon, in order to return in the soonest time possible to fans and her acting career, which is the love of her life.
According to the London based Elaph, Mirna has finally returned to her home in Cairo after her health condition began significant improvement. Mirna revealed that she had been experiencing pain in her abdominal since her early childhood, and was wrongly treated for several years, until finally doctors were able to find out the real cause of her illness.
She underwent surgery in the United States of America and then returned to resume her normal life and took on roles in different television dramas. Despite the fact that she was undergoing so much pain during the filming of most of her scenes, she stood strong not wanting to let her audience down.
Mirna had at first underwent a series of unsuccessful drug medications in Cairo for the treatment of cancer, but her condition had worsened as time passed by, leading her to be taken to London and submitted immediately in hospital and undergoing another surgery that was the removal of her colon. Through God's will, the surgery was successful and the young actress has returned once more to her home and insists on carrying on her acting career.
Mirna revealed that at this point she is aiming for the big screen and hopes to find a job that suits her and marks a step up in her acting career. She stressed that her dream is to act alongside prominent Egyptian actress Yusra, whom she looks at as her idol and one of her favourite actresses.
Mirna revealed that she had completed the shooting of her latest television series "Qamar September" (September's Moon), alongside prominent Egyptian actress Mervat Amin, before heading off to London. Mirna added that she has received many film offers during her stay in London and will look closely into them.
Mirna's illnes surfaced after she finished shooting her role in the TV drama "Nigmet Al Gamaheer" (Superstar); she flew to London where doctors were trying different medications to improve her condition, but all their efforts proved to be unsuccessful the thing that made them decide to go for surgery.
Doctors treating and supervising the health condition of Mirna had revealed that the actress is responding to her treatment and her condition is witnessing gradual improvement.
Mirna, who recently returned to the acting world after taking time off due to be treated for cancerous tumors in her abdominal, has once more been rushed to hospital after passing out being unable to take the pain she was feeling. The actress had previously thought that she was rid of her illness and so returned to taking on a number of acting jobs in different TV series, but over exhaustion led her condition to deteriorate once more becoming worse than it was at first. -Albawaba.com
